The Rachael Ann

Rachael Ann is a 42′ Camano Offshore Halibut Schooner Yacht built out of aluminum in 1988.

Having undergone a number of changes over the years, the boat currently is outfitted as follows.

  • Perkins Range 4 135 6-cylinder diesel engine
  • 280 gallons in two aluminum tanks, port and starboard
  • Just over 3′ draft with 6,000 lbs of lead ballast in the keel
  • Hull is built of 1/4″ aluminum
  • Hydraulic bow thruster
  • Hydraulic drum windlass with 150′ of chain, followed with 300′ of wire rope
  • 120 gallons of fresh water
  • 5 gallon hot water heater, electric, engine heated, or heated with Wabasto furnace
